(Not) your average med student.

Tuesday, January 12, 2016

The thing about med school (or any dream for that matter) is that on your way there, it's really easy for you to say you want to give up. You feel that this isn't what's for you and that maybe, nothing would ever come out from all this hard work that you're giving.

Five friends have already given up on that dream of becoming a future physician. And to think that they are the ones who embody so much potential of becoming one. It's bittersweet, sad to see a friend leave and quit her long time dream yet happy for them for realizing what they really wanted to do after all this time.
“It wasn’t that my job was too hard or that I wanted to give up, it was that I realized I could live a much bigger, more meaningful life than I was currently living.” [Shelby Earl on why she ditched a successful career to make music]
Many times I too wondered if this really was for me or if I was only brainwashed into thinking that it was. In my case however I work so hard, harder than some even. Staying up several nights, missing out on important events in life, hammering away studying tirelessly and sometimes fruitlessly, until something comes out of it. It's not that I haven't thought this through before applying, I have, many times. It's just that I never thought it would make me miserable most of the time which is the major reason behind all this doubts. I did not nothing but to complain about how hard it was (see my previous blogs). My analogy to a friend was: "It's like going to some unknown place without a map or any navigation in hand, and all the people around you don't know how to speak your language. You also don't know if you're going the right way or if you're ever gonna reach your destination." Basically, it's a huge risk.\\\ Is it worth it?

Strangely enough, right when I'm in the verge of quitting, I'm suddenly reminded about why I'm there (or STILL there) in the first place. [Woops. If you're expecting for some revelatory moment, don't. Ask me about why I pursued medicine, I won't be able to give you a straight answer.] I thought hey, no one was making me be there. And if I wanted, I could just switch paths. However, I didn't. And I was even willing to stay up several nights for it. Which means that I myself really wanted this, that I see this as something really important FOR MY OWN personal growth. I mean, I had my fair share of happy moments too! It wasn't all bad. The feeling of fulfillment that I get from pursuing medicine has trumped over misery and stress. I grew drastically (mentally, emotionally, even physically lol) over just a short period of time and that's what keeps me grounded. Yes, I may be having a pretty tough time in school now but I believe it is a good move for me in the long run. Who knows, this may even be key to my success? Well, it's still too early to tell and I can only hope for a bright future. But for now, I'll stay.

Oh and also, I was born a warrior eh. *Wink wink.*

---
Over christmas break, I was able to finish two dramas and several movies. Just wanted to make short reviews before forgetting the feels.

[KDrama] Fashion King
The worst. First episode and I've received warnings about how terrible the ending was. True enough, the whole drama was pointless. It was anything but fashion. It went from series of unfortunate events to death real quick. It was dark, gloomy and there was probably never a happy scene. Idk. I didn't finish the whole thing and skipped to the last episode which was terrible by the way. Like what is up with that ending? Rating: 4/10

[KDrama] Twenty Again
One of the most memorable scenes here was when the lead, after realizing how her dream of becoming a pro dancer has passed, cried her eyes out because she knew she can never take the time lost back again. Almost 20 years spent as a stay-at-home wife and only when a major event did she realize she had tons of things she wanted to do. Certainly no one wants that to happen and the saying "Live each day like it was your last" is a bit cliché. But the lesson I got here is to value the present as much as the future. On the downside, I felt little to no chemistry from the casts. Rating: 7/10

[KMovie] Twenty
A (really fun) movie I can relate to. It had the same concept as twenty again drama but straightforward. Here we see the life struggles of twenty-somethings and as twenty-something myself, I relate wholeheartedly. One thing I got from the movie is that there are three roads and not just two: (1) follow-your-dreams road, (2) do-something-practical road, and (3) the-free-spirit road. Hands down to Kim Woo Bin, he was the man here. The funny man lol. Rating: 10/10

[JMovie] Flying Colors
I need weekly dose of movies like this, please. The ending was expected but the script was really nice. Tons of quotable quotes from this movie! As expected from a Japanese movie.\\\ I liked it probably because it had a dash of psychology and because I could relate to it. Oh and that metaphor with the egg scene, two thumbs up. The cram teacher was a good speaker too. He just makes you want to study, a lot. Haha. Rating: 8/10

Left Behind.

What the hell did I just watch.

This is seriously the worst film ever to be shown in theaters. I mean why is it even there in the first place? SERIOUSLY WTF. I  enjoy watching end of the world films and since Nicolas Cage was in it I decided to go see the movie. But what did I get in return? Poor acting, terrible cinematography, and highly inapt music. I mean who the hell plays country in an action scene? Left Behind does! *sigh* It was distressingly bad. There's a story, yes. And obviously it had a religious message (no, I won't talk about the religious discrimination that transpired because I understand that it wasn't intended for all viewers especially non-christian viewers.. just gonna say it was a bit insulting is all). They should have developed the plot more. It could have been something more.. rate worthy. I feel sorry for Nicolas Cage.

Rating: 3.5
(I really should have trusted the 1/5 critics rating from clickthecity.)

Pepper Lunch
In other news, I just found a new favorite dish!

I've been here three times. I didn't like it at first because it was bland and the meat was too thin. Later on I found out I was eating it wrong. Foolish me forgot to add sauce. *facepalm* Now that I learned to drown it in Honey Brown Sauce I crave for it all the time! I want to eat here at least once a week. If only it weren't too pricey. But.. but aghhh meat~

Obsessing over Step Up at the moment.

Watched Step Up 5 earlier this week and decided to watch all the others as I got home. I'm no dancer but I just love watching people dance. This is one of the many reasons I love kpop: they're flawless and they always make me wish I could do whatever that is they're doing. I mean dance.. everyone can do it. Some are just better than some but certainly everyone can dance. Certainly.

Now before I go all Shakespeare over it, here's what I think. Step Up 3 is THE best. I know some of you might disagree, but let's just agree to disagree.

Step Up 3: the neofly light dance was way dope. And that water dance? Oh c'mon, not everyone can look like Moose when playing with water. Some will look silly. Step Up 5: I get that since it's Vegas, they had to make use of so much light. But well, there's just too many that it gets distracting. The fire and sand dance was cool though. Step Up 4: Loved the suit dance. Step Up 1: Channing Tatum. Step Up 2: I can only remember the Bounce dance.

Long post short, the best dancers where robot man and Moose. Lead male and female? Sorry if I sound a bit harsh but I think they're just visuals.

Here's another movie I saw when I was busy bumming around.
500 days of Summer. I thought this was one of those films that got popular because of the hipster feels. It did feel hipster, but it also had a deep story but not 'Japanese' deep. The message was pretty straight forward but yeah, it was meaningful. It gives you something to contemplate about, how some of us are blinded by fate and destiny which complicates things, really. We may not always get what we want. Like what that one dude said about his girlfriend being nowhere near his dream girl. But he likes it that way because her girlfriend? She's real.

Again, let's agree to disagree. I for one don't believe in those things. When people ask me about it I honestly couldn't care less. Nothing is forever. If it comes, it comes. If it ends, it ends. It's simple. Why make it complicated?

"Most days of the year are unremarkable. They begin and they end with no lasting memory made in between. Most days have no impact on the course of a life."

One of the very few local films I've seen.

I don't always watch local films. Especially ones as cheesy as this. Maybe it's just me but they're just so predictable. And quite frankly, this one's no different.

There IS something about this film that made me like it though. Aside from the cast and OSTs, the film had those cute-funny scenes that gets you kilig. I have to admit, I fangirled a bit back there. Was it really necessary for James Reid to show off his bod like all the time? *shows abs* Woops, I guess it was. =)))

Years ago, when I still had that mushroom hair of mine, I happen to bump into him. Back then he wasn't as macho as in the film. But hell yeah, he's really handsome in person. Why must my hair be crazy looking back then? Ugh.

Anyway, story-wise, everything was anticipated. The scenes leading up to these anticipations were "cool cool cool" (Community's Abed as reference). They picked the right people for the role. It was cheesy yeah, but I was up for cheesy. I recommend you see it when bored and looking for something to pass time. No major lessons found here.

Don't get me wrong people. I like Indie films, a lot. Just not these type.

These fellas deserve more views. I've seen their other covers but since this is SHINee, I just had to post it. They're really mysterious too. They cover their faces with masks or they sometimes film their behinds and lower bod, if you're into those kinds of stuff. But as for me, their voice was enough to like them. Why wear mask you say? I don't know. Because they believe people should listen to them and not mind their physical appearance? That or they wanted to be distinct. Either which, I root for them.

Buffets.

Friday, April 11, 2014

Been frequenting buffets lately.

The Buffet.
I'm starting to think that chandeliers are compulsory in Buffets. Haha. This is where we went to celebrate our graduation. To sum up, it was YUM. I'm not sure if it's because I was starving or if I've gotten used to eating at buffets, but the food here was exceptional. Not a lot to choose from though if you're like me who doesn't eat pork (and if you arrive an hour later than your sched). But it was very kind of them to serve us complementary dishes upon knowing that. Seafood galore! Points for that, The Buffet. Points for that.

Had fun with the family. I always am.

Love Desserts.
Second time around. Eating sweets with my sweets. :3

Okay. I don't even know how to start. Well.. It was worth my P199 I'll tell you that. The dessert choices were kind of limited. Limited cake choices, limited ice cream flavors, limited drink flavors. And you get to have unlimited of that. So.. you get sick of it real quick. 2 hours may seem short at first but once you're there it seems like forever. (But of course, it's sugar. What do you expect). It's a perfect place for hangouts with friends. Those lazy afternoons when you crave for unlimited sweets? By all means, I recommend this place.

My day yesterday.

Tuesday, March 18, 2014

I was out the whole day yesterday. I met up with friends and I went to watch two movies with my sister.

Buffet: Vikings SM North EDSA.
I regret eating breakfast earlier that morning. My stomach was waay over its limit. I was so full, my tummy refused to expand! No, but if I were to critic the place objectively, I'd say the food was good but not great. You'll know a great food once you taste one. For me, that wasn't it. The service was fine though. The dessert bar, sweet. I could just live there forever. And the place, quite fancy. Haha. But no matter how many buffets (or restaurants) I've gone to, surely nothing beats lutong bahay.

Non-Stop

I love Liam Neeson, but his character in the film was way paranoid. I mean, chill out! I get that you're an air marshal but don't go breaking people's nose just because you think they're suspicious. Typical example of a person acting rash. Oh and he could have clarified 'that' to everyone to begin with. He would have had less problems. I mean, you're asking people to cooperate yet you're acting all crazy. You expect me to follow orders from you? Hell no.
I did like the flow of events. I never would have thought it was that person. Not really feeling it though.

300: Rise of an Empire

Well, I love Eva Green. Her character stood out the most. She's so pretty and dark and strong and just perfect. To be honest, I'm not much a fan of movies like this. Heck, I haven't even watched the first 300 yet! But I must admit, I kinda liked this one. I probably should watch 300 too. :)

The Gifted Hands

The Gifted Hands otherwise known as Psychometry.

A break from all the dramas I've been watching.
It's been ages since my last supernatural movie. It's still a drama though, but action was evident. Anyway, I liked the forensic feel to it. Also the bit of Psychology. Tbh, the only reason I watched it was because it had the title 'Psychometry' which I thought pertained to Psych Assessment. *face palm*
It was good nonetheless.

Psychometry, as defined by wikipedia, is "the claimed ability to make relevant associations from an object of unknown history by making physical contact with that object". In the movie, Kim Bum gathered information how? By touching people, things and.. pigeons. That might have confused you. But yeah, he touches pigeons because of bird's eye view. The reason why he's doing it was to help the detective who had issues with his past. K, so I'll only be telling you up to this point. You better watch it if you want more info.

Credits to mister PsyCOW. (lol)

It reminded me of a book I once read entitled "Smaller and Smaller Circles" by F.H Batacan. The story was kind of similar but not entirely. It was a good read too. I enjoyed the book, and note that I don't like reading much. That's why I barely post any review of books here. But yeah, you could read that too if you want. :)

Project Makeover + Dating Agency

Project Makeover (2007)
How very appropriate to watch. :') I was feeling sulky just now.. but this movie really hit the spot.

Most of us would want to go back to the past and try to change certain events so as not to look a wreck at the present. But we overlook the thought that it must be fate that brought us here, that maybe God was trying to teach us a valuable lesson. It's a matter of making the right choices and sometimes, no matter how much we try, we end up making the same decisions over and over again. So yeah, no point in holding on to the past. What's important is the present and the future, it has yet to happen. So here's to a bright future! Past events are only there to help us grow and mature! :)

Dating Agency
Something's def. up. I'm being taught lessons every now & then about living life to the fullest. Am I gonna die soon? OMG.

(Sorry, subs are too small to read.)

It's more love than life stories though, a match making agency. You tell them who you like and they help you set up the perfect scenarios you see in movies and dramas. It was romantic, yes, but I still find it weird how they try to manipulate the target's heart. Anyway, I really liked ep13, the story of the nurse and the firefighter. It was realistic and touching, most of us could relate to it. Deep inside we're all afraid, if not of dying then of leaving someone behind. But like what the grandma said "There is nothing to be afraid of when being left behind. But one should be afraid of dying without starting anything." ohh and bonus on the last frame! Taemin and Jo Yoon Woo in one shot. Priceless! O^O

Sorry, but I didn't really like Sooyoung's acting. It can help to be herself more, I'd say she's trying too hard. Which is good, don't get me wrong! But it's just a little too much (probably?) that it's not anymore.. natural, get me? :)

Life of Pi.

Monday, November 11, 2013

For 2 consecutive nights, before passing out on a deep sleep, I've watched 2 movies that got me into a quite inspirational mood.

Life of Pi

Took me just now to watch it. Haha. Now I get what all the fuss was about. It's a pretty awesome movie! I just got out of the sea not too long ago and so I felt really in to the whole ocean scenes. That time we went island hoping, I was staring out into the sea bed thinking about what I could do if I were to fall off the boat. And also the time I tried para sailing. Having been raised in that certain height above waters, I could just see the whole thing. It was scary.. yet beautiful. But despite the fear you had of the sea, in the end you couldn't help but put out your hands to the water and feel the waves brushing on your skin. Making you want to feel free like that forever. :)

Survival of the fittest. But the movie wasn't only about the adventures Pi had with Richard Parker and other animals after the shipwreck. The twist of the story is really found at the end of the movie. I was going to say you should see it 'til the end but I doubt you'd be skipping some scenes.

I enjoyed the movie. I really did.

No Other Woman

Won't be posting a trailer here because I already have 2 years ago. Here is the link.

Rewatched it last night. I really admire the cast and their very convincing act. It almost seems real, their emotions. And the story was very practical. It portrays the life most people in this modern day are having - an issue in fidelity. However, I don't believe that love would last forever. I never did. There comes a time when the love would simply wither. It's just not the same love anymore. It is only after you water it with meaningful moments, whether good or bad, will it re-emerge. It is love that keeps you grounded.

Anyway, I assure you, you will be drawn to the whole film.

Battle Royale.

Monday, October 7, 2013

Yay finally! It's the long awaited sem break! XD

It's the 2nd day now actually. For the past few days I spent my time watching videos in no particular genre. Anything under the sun.. and the moon. From a guy doing stunts with his bike, to Miley's Wrecking Ball vids, from humanity restored vids to a cat getting ready to pounce. Absolute whatnots. And as usual, my circadian rhythm is messed up again. I am back to being owl. Hoo! Hoo! OvO

Earlier this morning (yup, I was up all night) I watched my very first asian drama of the season: Battle Royale.

Ehhh it was alright. I probably was expecting too much from it before even starting. It was gore yeah and the plot was great too, but there were just some scenes that got me saying WTF director. Like there was this scene where the guy was hit by an ax pretty bad and the main actor goes "Are you ok?" I was like "Of course he is fine! It's just an ax stuck in his head, nothing serious man. Don't worry about it." -_- And I find it funny how someone has to have like several gunshots before he/she dies. Oh and that last part! EPIC. He had like 10 shots but managed to stand up, answer his phone, eats the last cookie and say "Damn good cookies." and then dies. It was good nevertheless. Actors were spot on!

Swing Girls.

Sunday, April 7, 2013

I've never been a fan of jazz, ever. I was for classical music but jazz? I assumed it was for rich old people.

It's amazing how movies can just change your mind.
Watched a Japanese film called Swing Girls. I had no intention watching, and I was going to look for other movies, but for some reason I stayed. It surprisingly is a good movie. Jazz is pretty cool. I wanted to try it even. :)

I must admit though, it was quite common. The plot. It's one of those films where the characters start off as beginners and then later on joins a competition to which surprise surprise does really well. I only liked it because their last performance was extremely good. I had goosebumps the whole time. It was.. nice. Had me reconsider my assumption of Jazz as being for rich old people.

"Vanessa, when I met you, I thought you were perfect. And you are, I mean look at you. But then I met Katy and.. and.. she's.. perfect for me."

An utterly cute love story.
I doubt things like this could ever happen. Well, some of it. I liked the cast, their characters were so cool. Out from the ordinary. Yeah.. And... and.. I don't know what else to say. I liked it but as you know it's a movie to pass time. So ending the review here.

On another note, I am currently enjoying US shows. Right now I'm watching this MTV show called The In-betweeners and apparently in their school, people think they're losers. But for me they're not. They're so cool! Fun people to be with. I'm also watching this show called Dr. Owen's MD, I'm learning a lot from. Allowing me to see the world of doctors and could even push me to become one. It kind of scared me a bit but then, by the end of the day we come to realize, there are just things that are beyond our control.

Secret.

My first Taiwanese movie.
I enjoyed it very much it brought me to tears. Almost.

"After listening to it I just had to look outside the window." -Now I understand what sir meant about that. I couldn't help my feels. I loved it so much it gave me goosebumps. What a beautiful movie. I can't even think straight anymore. Immediately I wanted to make a review about it but here I am speechless, not knowing what to write. It's just really really good. I enjoyed it very much.

Ye Xiang Lun is a music student majoring in piano who just transferred to Tamkang, a school famous for its musically talented students, especially those who play piano. On his first day of school, he hears a mysterious melody being played, and following it meets Lu Xiao Yu, another piano major. When he asks her about the song she was playing, she tells him that it is a secret that cannot be told. The two form a friendship that quickly evolves into a romantic relationship. However unbeknownst to Xiang Lun, there is more to Xiao Yu than initially meets the eye.

The girl is really pretty. The guy looks familiar. The story was I thought a predictable one but then at the far end I was taken aback by how strangely put together it was. I thought it was just another one of those plots where.. ok I can't tell you. But yeah, it was different.

Rating: 10

I love dramas and movies involving the piano. It just adds a whole new feel to it. I don't know.

A Wolf's Temptation.

Saturday, December 29, 2012

My standards are soaring after Innocent Man. Haha. Kidding. I'm getting sick of watching movies and dramas for the past few weeks. I keep changing cuz I couldn't find one which I'd stick to through the end. #sigh

This movie which I would be doing a critic on was actually recommended to me by youtube. Technically. I'm thankful I keep stumbling on recommended videos in youtube. Really good finds! Worth watching.

Hm.. Well, let's just say this seems familiar. A typical Korean movie I guess? Lucky for them I like these types of movies. Characters were great. I like the girl because she's not all girly and acts fake-ish but is just naturally beautiful. The guys were handsome, OMG I must admit. But not my reason for watching. Story line seems like a combo of different movies and all. Koreans sure love their sad endings. And their mafias. Ahaha. I consider it a no brainer or a movie to pass time. It was okay. A good one after looking for so long. I wouldn't tell you the story since I think the sorta trailer gave it all but to give you a tease why you should watch it, that's not all there is to it. The plot thickens somewhere between what was shown in the trailer.

Oh and was it just me or did any of you notice the striking resemblance between Kang Dong Woon (one who played Tae Sung in the movie) to Superstar K4's Jung Joong Young. Right? I even thought it was him at first. Haha.

On another note, I love SNSD's comeback!

Well, it's not yet out but I bet I'll like it. Hyoyeon's super pretty here. I mean really really pretty. She owns the teasers. ^^

Castaway On The Moon.

Friday, November 9, 2012

How come I've never heard of this movie before? HOW COME?!

imgimg

The one who made it must be a genius or something. Story line is pretty unique. UNIQUE. Love story, yeah, but an unusual one. It's like the message of the story is, "Let's be crazy, together." literally. Hahahaha. How crazy is the story you might ask? Well, first, the man tried to kill himself by jumping off Han River. Unfortunately for him, he survived and was washed away in a deserted island. In comes a really weird girl who is a shut in for 3 years. The real life definition of an Agoraphobic. Geez, imagine staying in your room for 3 years. I can't even.. aigoo. Nwy, I'll leave it for you to watch how the two completely different paths meet.

Notice how frequently I used the concept weird. Well, because the movie is just.. weird. Haha. In a good way though. It's funny that way. I felt bipolar while watching, my mood switches from a laughing maniac to a melancholic psycho. It made me laugh so hard but it also broke my heart just as much. Seeing how life worked in a different perspective. How ignorant could we be? Being able to get things now so easily, not even working that hard for it.. the fall of humanity. -___-

"I am an ugly duckling. That became a slug rather than a swan." "I couldn't be more proud of my salty tasting self. I feel like the most delicious thing at the top of the evolutionary chain. I'm damn delicious." See how strange but funny the script is? Haha. I also like how the characters acted their part. They were able to portray it awesomely well. I like it. I could go on til tomorrow but I'll leave the rest of the judgements to you.

WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Watched The Possession with PSH Prod!
We celebrated our late 2 year anniversary by watching a horror film. Was going to watch The Ring 3D but it was already off screen a long long time ago. Haha. Anyway, the movie was I dunno.. okay? Not that scary at all. It was full of half finished scenes then ends with a *dmmm..* of a piano. I think the director meant for each scene to be a cliffhanger, but I think it became too much that it leaves us saying "Whaaat? That's it?"
I was feeling neutral the entire time. A bit surprised, yes, but I still find myself not going paranoid in a room all by myself.

Hello Schoolgirl.

Sunday, August 5, 2012

Couldn't find a decent trailer for this movies. -__-
Found an MV instead.

WARNING: Watching the vid may spoil you so I suggest you watch the movie first.

Korean movies on a Saturday, yaaay!
The perfect way to destress from all the schoolwork and err.. mini work.

Okay, so going back.
The phrase "Love has no Age" fits this movie perfectly. Well for the first couple that is since the gap is 12 years and all. For the second couple, there's that and also the fact that the girl couldn't let go of her last love. Sounds common, yeah. But extra points come from the actors and the scenes of the movie. It's so freaking cute of a movie! Seriously. Those cute sweet scenes.. Ahh, just.. ugh. So cute. >.<

Fangirl mode: OFF.
If you're a sucker for sweet cheesy romantic films, then this one's for you. Trust me I know coz I'm also a sucker. Haha. Oh and if you still didn't know, Kangin from Super Junior and Soo Young from SNSD are in this movie. So for the ELFs and SoShis that haven't watched it yet, Oh God you should.

EXTREME MAJOR SPOILER: Because I just couldn't get over that scene, I want to vent it out here. ASDFGHJKLQYIOPXCVBNM! That snow scene was pure genius! It was really sweet. And the elevator scene too. Gaaaah! The man's like a Penguin. ♥

I watched 2 today. Two movies that is. ^^

The Beauty And The Beast (Yasoowa Minyeo)

It's about a blind girl who got her eyesight back. She has this boyfriend who thinks of himself as an ugly person, which in my opinion is not true. He's actually average. So yeah, when the girl got her eyesight back, he pretended to be her boyfriend's secretary. So there. Rating it a bit high coz it's funny and I just love Shin Min-a.

Seri is freakin adorable! Oh and I might have to agree with everyone when they say that the guy looks so much like Jonghyun. With a hint of TOP though. Haha. So anyway, it's a friendship movie. Bad girl meets good girl type. Funny but the story was a bit common to me. It was random on some parts though, like the 'nice' part. I still don't get what that part is for. All in all it was okay.

Tokyo Boy + My Rainy Days.

Tuesday, June 12, 2012

Since it's the last night of summer, it's a given that I spend it on a movie or something.

Make that two movies. Japanese movies. ^^

First up is Tokyo Boy. Reason why I decided to watch this is because of Maki Horikita. I just love her! She's my most adored Japanese actress and this movie really shows why. This is not your typical movie. Once you understand what's going on, then it gets really... creepy. Haha. But I just love how it's so poetic and all. But very.. err.. narcissistic, man. Hahahaha.

My Rainy Days. It's about an illness like all the other Japanese movie there is. I have watched tons of movies like it. But even so, it has its touch. It was a nice ending. But I don't get why people are crying over it, I seriously didn't even shed a tear.

Oh and credits to the actress. She's really pretty, ohmygod. Like a goddess. Both are cute actually. The guy is all cold on the outside but really an awkward and funny man. ^^

This is not good. Stayed up late again to watch another drama. School is VERY near, I should sleep early. But I can't. I watched this instead.

A pretty deep Japanese Movie. You wouldn't understand unless you read between the lines. A story about music. And well I guess, romance. I've never encountered a movie like this that had me thinking a lot.

Middle part of the movie, I was confused. I had a lot of questions in mind. Honestly, I even thought of not finishing it. It's a good thing I did. What I gained from this movie? People change. And the cause of that change? Another person.

KIND OF A SPOILER ALERT: It was an open ending. It leaves it to you and how you think the story had ended. Very nice. Different from what I usually watch. It's a perfectly vague movie. And I liked it. END OF KIND OF A SPOILER ALERT.

Also, they have great music in this movie. I just really love rock bands! Emotions are wicked. Will download soundtracks tomo. I'm pretty sleepy now, finally.

Oh and before I forget.. Jin Akanishi, I LOVE YOU! You're acting was amazing. All natural and all. ^^
