Last week, as I got home from volunteering, I got a text from my mom saying that the brother of my dad passed away (may he rest in peace). A very sudden death. It was so sudden that I woke up at 2am to my dad, my mom and 3 of my sisters' packing and leaving (for our province). Heard they'll bury my uncle there, hence the trip. Anyway, I heard my dad saying they were about to leave but I didn't have the guts to look him straight in the eye for I know he had been crying all this time. And I couldn't dare look at someone going through hardships and know that I can't do anything about it. Especially if it's a family member. So I pretended to be sleepy and went back to bed. -Long story short, we (the youngsters), were the only ones left at home. My older sister was pregnant, my older brother was preoccupied with stuffs and my little brother was too dependent. So I had to move for us to survive. I had to cook breakfast for them, fix my lil bro his baon, pay the bills, go grocery shopping, wash dishes and other mom duties.. all these, side by side with my schooling. It was tough. Time was pretty limited, I thought. But I am very proud to say that I am now a master rice cooker-er. Hoorah! ;) =)))
Together with my maturation, I recently started watching the season 3 of awkward. Change blows. I am down to my last 2 episodes and I can't believe how the episodes are going so far. Too. much. to. handle. It's intense! I liked and hated the new character, Collin. Same with the new Jenna. But I don't know, let's see it to the end. I did miss watching this. And now I have to wait for the next season, again. =_=
